Hello Dear Shaman College Community,

Today I bring you some morning musings... these are pieces that have been with me over the last week or so.

I am sure many of you have heard the beautiful words,

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience." Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

These words have stayed with me since I first heard them years ago.  They kind of shifted something within.

In this audio recording, we look at how the anchor into the spiritual being can get lost on people AND how the human nature can get lost as well.

Nature and by extension, your human body, holds you gracefully to a living realisation that you are a spiritual being.  The form and the formless pulse together.  This is what we know from shamanism.  This is the drumbeat of our practice.

Hello Dear Shaman College Community,

I have been wanting to record a series of audios and videos about the various techniques and modalities that are often found in shamanic healing across the planet.   Most of these are shared amongst many peoples.

I feel that one of the main teachings that you will find here... is that shamanic healing is not just a collection of techniques.

You cannot just 'order -up' a Spirit Animal retrieval or a Soul retrieval and call that shamanism.  Just as you cannot light some sage, bang a drum and call it shamanism.

These can be found in many shamanic healing sessions, and yet they are simply tools and techniques for something that is much further reaching.  Something that can withstand all time and space... across cultures, languages, and beliefs.

I believe that we here at Shaman College hold a reverence and a steady inquiry into the hollow bone that is shamanic healing...

Hello Dear Shaman College Community,

This week, we look at what it means to deepen relationship.

When we give a conscientious time to relationship... roots grow deeper.

You realise you can never grasp everything, there is an endless amount of revelation and beauty.

We can be too quick to 'know' someone, some technique, or some place.  Yet, what happens when we allow relationships to deepen with our child, with our parent, with our partner, with our friend?  With the Earth, with our guides, with the animals, with the trees?

As these relationships deepen, the roots break down pieces, patterns and blocks within our own hearts.

Thank you, and may you enjoy this beautiful focus... as you breathe with the relationships in your life.

There is a taproot to the present moment - a place that holds access to all.

Development of your practice must be just as much about your grounded presence as it is about travelling distant worlds.

In this video, I explore the many timelines that we travel and weave within shamanic healing.  Often people are familiar with the multiple realms that exist in shamanic consciousness, but less is known about the multiple times that practitioners access.

All of this is possible through the grounded presence here.  This present moment is where everything exists.  This moment is your portal to all.  It is also the place where the grounded shamans breathe...

Hello Dear Shaman College Community,

This week's audio/ video addresses how we may work with the aspect of the mind that questions, doubts, and holds you back.

You have likely come across this voice within your shamanic and spiritual work.

"Is that real?" 

"Am I making this up?" 

"Is this a true message?"

"Can I do that?"

These types of questions often arise early in one's shamanic studies.  And I do not feel that they are a 'bad' thing.  Quite the opposite, I find they are asking you to go further, explore more, and ask more.

Other pieces may arise within more advanced work but everyone can share in this looking because of its relevance to our ordinary world existence.  I am talking about fear.  When you can become conscious of this fear energy, you can feel when it arises within yourself, and you can hear when it is coming from outside of yourself.  From there, you can assess its truth or non-truth.  You get to choose whether or not you are...

I invite you in this week's video/audio to explore your ability to sense the essence or presence of an individual.

This essence is the soul's presence.  And you will soon recognise that it is timeless.  Through further inquiry, you will find it is also unbound... that means it exists both in form and beyond form.

I guide you to sense this presence with animals and humans... and with yourself.  I also recommend that you can do this with trees, as they are ready assistants on this path.

We are often so quick to define, we are quick to draw lines and create beliefs linked to individuals.  We assign opinions, dates, places, memories, projections, and more.  Here in this practice, we give to ourselves and to existence itself, an opportunity to be perceived through these illusions.

I hope this finds you well... exploring, divining, receiving and enjoying this beautiful home.

I know this full dive-in comes with its trials, comes with its requests... yet when you are drawn to growth, unfoldment, beauty and light, it is all a part of the journey.

I walk this Earth everyday, this farm, this sacred soil inviting what wants to come forth for you, for your shamanic path.  How can I serve you?  How can I support you?  How can we at Shaman College be of assistance?

Sometimes I offer advice and help with the shamanic perspective.  And other times I invite you to join me in an inquiry, an inner and outer exploration and experience.

This recording is of the invitation type...  let's go... let's go here together into the call that lives within us, the call to the Mother.

Hello Dear Shaman College Community,

In this audio recording, I explore the quantum entanglement of the observer and the observed as it is expressed in shamanism.

This connection is foundational to shamanic consciousness and practice.  An active inquiry into this, an exploration - allows you to come more and more clear to the beauty of this work.

Our interaction with the healing is a part of the healing.  And yet, a real knowing of this creates a humility and a bowing to the great mystery. It requests the ego to step aside.

I recorded this with practitioners in mind... yet, we all are 'practitioners'  in some way or another offering our presence and assistance.

This video message comes from the site for a new healing space here in Belize.  It feels good to connect to you from this location... even though it hasn't been fully completed in this realm yet!

When patterns and themes come up through my communications with people at Shaman College, I know it is a message to share these pieces with you.

Today, I want to look at the foundations of safety and effectiveness in our practices.

I know that our work can be powerful and effective, while being safe.  I feel strongly that we can do this amazing healing work and be ethical and clear.  (This is a big topic - and today's sharing begins the discussion.)

I want you to know that safe shamanic practice honours your power and potential.  Safe shamanic practice also honours the power in the practice itself.  Without these two threads... one can wander into tricky situations.

Shamanism is not the easiest path, yet it is divinely beautiful.  We are not 'joking' around or...
